Health Management Promotion Activities x “Lively 5 Activities”

On November 20, I participated in a collaborative event (lecture meeting) of the Health Management Promotion and Lively 5 Activity.
Health management is an important measure directly related to the improvement of corporate productivity.
On the other hand, our own “Lively 5 Activity ver. 1.5”*1 is also an activity aimed at improving employee job satisfaction.
We recently held an event to create new value by taking advantage of the synergy between the two.
Recently, health is regarded as an important indicator in corporate management.
Our Groups are also in the process of implementing various initiatives to obtain “White 500” *2 certification.

What I would like to say to you all - How to make everyone feel good at work

The lecture was divided into two parts.
In the first half, participants learned about the importance of sleep.
Our industrial physician, Dr. Tsunemitsu, explained that sleep is an important point for maintaining good health and that it also affects the performance of the departments.
I received a perfect score on a simple measurement I took on the spot.
The industrial physician Tsunemitsu praised me for getting a solid seven hours of sleep every day.
In order to protect the health of our employees, it is important for the leaders (what we call SMART managers*3) themselves to be healthy.
For this purpose, it is necessary to review work hours, including overtime work, implement improvements, including DX, and work to improve efficiency.
In addition to the company's efforts, I look forward to your creativity and ingenuity.

In the latter half of the session, Ms. Kaori Nitta, a labor and social insurance consultant, spoke on the subject of “How to continue working while caring for family members” with examples of system utilization.
She lectured in a very clear way as for the fact that there are still systems that are easy to use.

The number of employees who attended reached 382, indicating a high level of interest.
More and more employees will be faced with nursing care in the future.
Our Groups actively support employees who balance work and nursing care so that they do not have to choose to retire due to nursing care.
I was reminded of the importance of not only enhancing the system but also continuing efforts to create a workplace where it is easy to use the system.
The foundation of a company is its people.
Let us work together to create new value by balancing health management and job satisfaction.
The participation of each and every one of you all will lead to the realization of a better workplace environment.
